Head outdoors this DSF at the COREUNITY Festival presented by Core Direction. Running from 13-15 January in Hatta, this community-focused festival brings together some of the region's most inspiring fitness, wellness, and health gurus to get everyone moving this DSF. The 3 day festival offers an energetic daily line-up of world-class instructors delivering a fulfilling programme of immersive breathwork, yoga classes, intense HIIT and dance sessions, and nightly DJ sets to get everyone dancing amidst Hatta’s mountains.
On 19, 20, 26, and 27 of January, Dubai Beats is back with four days of musical performances, showcasing some of the region's best rising talents. The first night hip-hop fans also got to enjoy electric sets by female rapper; Jara, DJ Aseel and Saudi Arabian prodigy BLVXB. On the second night DJ Kaboo will be hitting the decks with his arab-fusion sound and stellar performances from Egyptian musician Ali Loka, and Muslim. The third night features even more Arab talent taking to the stage, with energetic performances by Emirati singer, Shamma Hamdan; Kuwaiti popstar, Bader AlShuaibi; and Mouslem. The last night will see Lebanese pop singers Farah Chreim and Lama Shreif will both be giving solo performances. Also confirmed to make an appearance and complete the night of this year's Dubai Beats is Jordanian musician, Hossam Sillawy. The event is free for everyone to attend at Dubai’s Design District (D3).
Tunes DXB returns from 6 to 15 January with performances spread across 12 locations across the city, showcasing local artists, including Alya Al Ali, Maitha Al Mansoori, Shebani, and more, with daily performances from 5PM to 11PM.
This DSF, get ready to time travel with Dubai 80’s and revisit some incredible childhood memories at Last Exit Al Khawaneej, running until 8 January from 4PM to 11PM. Walk down memory lane with some incredible memorabilia, including 90s cell phones, digital watches, Gameboys, vintage televisions, retro cassette player and so much more.
Witness a special showcase of 10 unique interactive light installations made by renowned artists and studios from around the world. The second edition of Dubai Lights is now live in City Walk, creating an immersive journey of otherworldly artistic lights and sounds. The highlight is a curated collection titled The Spark Within - an outdoor exhibition on the power, resilience, and positivity of light and sound as a symbol of connection between people, places and nature. Dubai Lights runs until 29 January 2023 and more installations from renowned artists and studios can be found in Dubai Design District (d3), and Palm Jumeirah.
